Good Overview Anyone can write a book. Believe me, with Kindle Unlimited I've read (at least as many chapters as I could) quite a few that could've benefited from this book. If you want to write one, this is a good place to help you get organized, get writing and get published (mainly self-published). Good Overview Anyone can write a book. Like most other books on writing, this one will inspire one to sit down and start writing! As a motivational tool, I could recommend this book to other writers. However, the book focuses mainly on marketing a Kindle book. The first section of the book is about the actual craft, though the section is short enough to be read in under an hour. A book about marketing ebooks is quite helpful to many writers who wish to self-publish. Just don’t expect a lot of depth from this book. This is a very bare bones writing guide. Perhaps this would be good for teenagers who are interested in writing their first novel. The basics are good, but there are so many more extensive writing guides out there why not start with a better one? With "fun" being in the title I expected some creative and fun ideas for planning and writing a novel. Unfortunately, this is just a bunch of recycled ideas - noting out of the ordinary. I recommend Save the Cat by Blake Snyder. This is a very bare bones writing guide. Perhaps this would be good for teenagers who are interested in writing their first novel. An inspiring book which makes me want to dust my novel off and get it off the island, (reference from the book). It talks about the writing process and about publishing options. She does go more into the ways she publishes, but makes reference to the others. Although she does her own editing, proofreading and formatting, there were a few problems in one section. Overall it was a good book about making books.

A very basic guide to writing. It has some good bits of advice, and some useful links to resources, but otherwise there's not a lot here that most couldn't figure out on their own.
