There are some good insights and strategies to be had from this book, but I felt like a lot of it was unnecessary filler and repetitive. I wish it would have gotten to the point quicker and not beaten around the bush about concepts so much. That being said, there is value in reading it, especially if you know nothing about the primary advanced drafting strategy the book covers: Value Over Replacement Player (VORP).

Quick little read on fantasy football that mostly confirmed the strategies that I've learned in about 10 years of playing. It got repetitive at times. Kind of the football equivalent of the Don't Think of an Elephant book. Quick little read on fantasy football that mostly confirmed the strategies that I've learned in about 10 years of playing. Great book. But not for daily. More focused on traditional leagues.

Another strong work by Bales Another good amount of useful information. Teaches scarcity over volume, VORP, how to create projections, etc. You can't go wrong with this series. Interesting book. Lots of excellent advice for drafting players in fantasy football. It gets a little too technical at points (for my tastes), but still a good book for team managers to read.
