LOVED IT Second book in the fighters of Absinthe series. I loved the first book with Brock and Izzy, "The Fighters Girl" and I was really looking forward to London and Sunny's story. Sunny's father Harlond owns and runs a centre for fighters. His daughter Sunny works with him. She's been around fighters her whole life, she knows that their lifestyles include violence and women. In London's case lots of them, he's a real manwhore. But that hasn't stopped Sunny from wanting him. The long drawn out LOVED IT Second book in the fighters of Absinthe series. But that hasn't stopped Sunny from wanting him. The long drawn out stares and longing looks are beginning to be noticed. If Harlond catches London near Sunny things will get very nasty real quick. I liked this story with one major gripe, it was too short I wanted more. But having said that I loved London and Sunny together, their first encounter was hot, this author really knows how to ramp up the sexual tension, but then delivers even more when it gets down and dirty. London was sexy and possessive, while Sunny was bright, loyal and beautiful. All I can say is more please.

He licked her, like some kind of primal animal marking its territory. “And even though I know this is so fucking wrong, I can’t stop because it feels so fucking right.” She couldn’t think, let alone come up with words. “I’m going to get my ass kicked for touching you, but shit is it so worth it, baby.” This was a nice short read with a sweet possessive alpha male. loved him! He hadn’t penetrated her yet, but the hot, wet feel of her was enough to have pre-cum spilling from the tip of his dick. The fit was tight, but he liked it that way, liked the way her body molded to his. “You’re mine, Sunny.” A mewl left her, and he lifted his hips up in a powerful surge, slamming all of his cock into her pussy. “Say it, Sunny. Say you’re mine and no one else’s.” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Loved him calling her 'baby' all the time and liked her protective big brother and father but what irked me the most was everytime she looked at H or thought about him or he would say something sexy she would mention how 'wet in her panties' she got or 'heat between her thighs' or how aroused she got and how it immediately went to her pussy. -that's just one of my pet peeves though.

And when they get together, it is absolutely, positively HOT (in all capital letters). Author Jenika Snow once again turns up the heat in the second installment of The Fighters of Absinthe series. Maybe it is a natural response to the storyline, but there is just something about these MMA/underground circuit fighters that kick start the engine. While the story itself isn’t incredibly long and may lack the development of a full-blown novel, the heat level is strong enough to push it into the upper review tier. The draw of the story is more about how it is told in comparison to the actual storyline itself. What sets it apart is the high intensity of the erotic element, crafted to completely captivate the reader. There’s plenty of room for additional stories in the series, particularly with the sneak peaks we get of some of the characters. I’m on board for this series and ready to see what is next.

If you're searching for a little of drama, that make a book more interesting (for me), then you will not find it here. The second book of the series The Fighters of Absinthe is like, how can I say... it's all good, it doesn't matter if he just screwed one girl one minute before you, who cares, it's like "don't worry be happy". Sorry, but for me is not realistic. But this was fun: He tore her shirt up, pulled her bra down so one of her breasts sprang free, and then his mouth was on her nipple. DNF so no rating. Not a fan of manwhore 'heroes' who'll sleep with anything that moves 'cause they HAVE to have release. Grow up and get a little self control. Even less of a fan of heroines that show so little self respect for themselves that they'll sleep with the manwhore. No desire to finish a book about a guy that I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole unless he'd been in solitary for 9 months being tested for every disease & virus known to man every 3 months.

Real short, typical of novellas. Not exactly my favorite though mostly because the story's very lack of details. Too rushed and I wish there'd be more angst and drama. Looking forward to read another Jenika Snow's works. :)

The book wasn't bad for a short story. My main complaint is the price of $3.99 for 89 pages with grammatical errors.

Ugh I absolutely hate it when men act like they own women. Boohoo Sunny can't be with a fighter, despite the fact her dad is one. Blah blah blah. Where does her dad and her brother figure get off getting mad at London for being with her?? She is a grown woman who can do what she wants. If all they wanted was to sleep together that'd be fine, if they're in a relationship that's fine too. It made me feel sick they way they acted like it was anything to do with them.

That was good! There is something about that forbidden man that makes you swoon a bit more. For Sunny, there is no one more forbidden than London. They decide to keep things quiet from her dad and pseudo big brother, Mack. Mack catches them but after some heater words and moments, lets them be for now. They still have Sunny's dad to face, and Sunny making clear to everyone London is hers now. Sunny handles it all very maturely, while London seems ashamed of what came before, Sunny keeps reminding everyone that it was before her, and London should be judged on how he acts with her, as that is what matters Nice quick and hot read with some really hot moments and some sweet ones as well

Oh London you dirty sexy mofo! Pretty good quickie (like most of her other stories). Two people who desire each other from afar. London : a MMA fighter who sleeps with anything that has a uterus. Sunny: Daughter of London's trainer. She had promised her dad she'd stay away from fighters, because it would only lead to heartache. But their attraction was instantaneous. At the end it proves too hard to ignore. The whole forbidden love with a guy who kicks ass for a living pretty damn hot. Not a Oh London you dirty sexy mofo! I read this in less than two hours. I felt I should start out with that. It was a super fast and fun read... You know those reads that you read before bed to help make your dreams better? Yup :) right here. I kind of hate how fast this read was, it hurried a lot if the scenes and whatnot but I didn't feel left out by any means, I guess I just wanted more fighting and more sex.... But it was still insanely hot :)

Really like it this book & the storyline. London's a sexy bad boy MMA fighter who's used to fighting, drinking & nameless sex, living for the moment until Sunny. London's drawn to Sunny who's sweet & innocent. A relationship between them seems forbidden because of who they are but giving in became inevitable. Mutual attraction leads to steamy sex & more. Can't wait for more in this series.

Having read the first one, naturally I had to jump straight into the second book in this series, and I'm happy to report it's just as hot as book one. I just love these ultimate bad boys who only show their soft sides to their heroines, and needless to say their lady loves are no pushovers either. Great series!

I really enjoyed reading Sunny and London's story. These two were dancing around their attraction to each other until one night when they both decided to make the next step. This was a quick read and I am enjoying this series!

I loved this story. Bad boy, manwhore London. What's not to love? And his woman Sunny. This is my type of woman. I love reading about women who find their strength. Or backbone. No pun intended. I just plain loved it. This story will be one of my rereads forever.

I really enjoyed this one, and would definitely love my own London! I enjoyed this one more than the first because this one flowed better and didn't feel rushed. These books are hot but sweet with MMA fighters - what more could a girl want? Just read and enjoy.
