Three years since the ending of Untamed , a new life, a new beginning in Paris… It's her turn to be free; away from her parents, their expectations and their control. This is her chance to live the life she dreamed of, doing the job she loves, finding herself and living life just for herself. Willing herself to be strong enough to do it on her own without the drugs, the alcohol and the sex. The only thing missing is Dare...regret over the past, unable to forget, why can't she press rewind and do it all over again ?!? Who would ever have thought that miles and miles away from home is where she would see him again. After all these years, will she finally be able to find the closure she needs to finally put him and the past they shared behind and move on with her new life. He wasn't mine to touch. And I wasn't his to have. So we were stuck in limbo--so close, yet much too far away. I wanted Dare. Without question. Without doubts. Without end. There is no denying their connection, with the tables turned, this time she has to prove herself worthy of him while he tries to keep her at a distance. I was playing with fire--I knew that--but I was much too drawn to the flame. I had to touch it. Even if that meant getting burned. Dare is finally taking a chance to become someone with his art, and it just so happens his muse is back in his life willing to help him live his dream. Hesitant to let her in, he can’t help but see his Ree when he looks into her eyes, but can it be that easy, is she really free from her parents control or is it all an illusion once again. Last night had been a trip to heaven, only to be plunged straight down into the fiery pits of hell this morning. Out of Control is the second of the five episodes that make up the Untamed series. I wasn't sure where Dare and Ree's story would go after Untamed but Out of Control upped the angst factor by keeping us on the edge as we continue to wish for their HEA. There was so much hurt and pain between them that it took time to heal and trust again. This book revolved around finding your inner strength and making something of your self. It kept my heart pounding, during all the cat and mouse games that they play, temptation across the hall and the war between want and protecting your heart. This was a great addition to the Untamed series, I loved how there was a different feel between this and the first episode, keeping it interesting. I also liked how the author didn't jump right in and make things all rainbow and sunshine from the beginning, having to work for forgiveness and even with that didn't guarantee immediate reconciliation. Told from Ree's POV, their story continues on to the next episode, one that I had to jump in straight away.   ARC kindly provided by the authors , in exchange for an honest review.   ***Quotes above are taken from the ARC version of the book and may differ upon publication.

5 Angsty Stars 'So this was it. Paris. Art. The road to freedom. My one chance at life.' Why did it end that way!?! WHY!! This was really great. I really enjoyed this angst filled novella...but that ending!! I NEED the rest of this series very soon! Well, it is now three years since that event happened in their lives where they parted separate ways. Yup, THREE years!! I can say that Reagan has grown in some ways and not so much in others during that time. Like how she still relies on drugs when she freaks out. Reagan is more stronger and is finally trying to make her dreams come true. So, she has left her family and Harvard Law behind for Paris and art. Just like with the first novella, I was sucked into this one really early on. I have no idea how they authors do it, but they just suck you into the story and don't let go. I loved that about it. I was so happy to see that Reagan is finally doing what she wants and not what her family tells her to do. She is working in a gallery where she discovers new talent. On one of her walks through the streets of Paris, she finds a painting that calls to her. The artist is none other than Dare Wilde himself, in the flesh. Dare has been in Paris for a year trying to make it. So, far he sells his work on the streets, but he is getting acknowledged by art connoisseurs. Dare is still very hurt from the way that Reagan broke his heart. I totally understood his reluctance to try and get back together with her, or even become friends with her. But it hurt so very much seeing him push Reagan away time and time again. I still loved him, though. I still thought he was a smoking sexy alpha, and sweet. But that rejection hurt me. So, I guess that is one thing I have to admire from Reagan. She is unrelenting and stubborn when it comes to Dare. She doesn't want to give him up. I'm sure I would have given up a long time ago because my poor heart wouldn't have been able to take it. But not Reagan, she kept trying to push down the walls he built around him. And the sex scenes in this one was very passionately hot. Loved it! ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ●  ● Two parts. And I wasn't expecting her "best friend" Archer to do what he did. That cliffhanger ending had me wanting to pull my hair out. I NEED and WANT the next part NOW!! I really love this series. I am a fan of how these two authors work together. I love the writing and how I can't seem to want to stop reading. But, I think I will continue this series until I know all of the parts are released. I just can't deal with the wait. But it is so SO good, and I definitely recommend this one to everyone, especially to those angst lovers.

If you haven't read Book 1 proceed with caution** 5 Bittersweet, Out of Control Stars The writing team of Victoria Green and Jinsey Reese slay me again with Out of Control. The second installment picks up three years after the heartbreaking end to Untamed. Dare and Reagan both living in Paris, preparing the futures they both want no, the futures they need for themselves. There’s no happy reunion in this book. With paths running parallel to each other; Reagan ready to make amends, Dare keeping a safe distance it takes a lot for Dare to succumb to his true feelings. They wreak havoc on each other’s hearts with deep feelings, each scared of the additional scars the other can inflict on their souls. Out of Control journeys through these scars with so much sexual tension and angst you drown in it. The brilliance of it? It feels REAL. Natural. It’s not an annoying push/pull with invalid reasons and undue anxiety. These characters represent freedom and light to each other – once possessing freedom and losing it so abruptly and maliciously left unhealed wounds. Dare and Reagan terrify each other; the angst stemming from the fear is real and consuming. Just as their passion. Slight moments, glimpses of happiness, provide the reader the security in their love. These writers have turned angst into an art form. Ominous feelings crowd the pages. The writing richly manipulates our feelings providing equal parts relief and dread. But when they submit to the unbridled passion, Dare and Reagan remind us why we need to believe in the strength of their bond. The refreshingly dynamic plot although not as quick as book one fits this part of their story. Words laced with color, weaving the beauty of art into their story not only superficially as a life choice, but profoundly deep also making art part of Reagan’s gripping inner dialogue about her life and the light Dare possesses. This series of serial novellas completely hooked me. These books were an unexpected, satisfying surprise. I thought this installment was even a bit a predictable – a trait that normally turns me off – but not here. Not with these characters who I want to believe in. Not with blood-curdling villains who I'd like to choke. Not with this plot intoxicating you, urging you to keep reading. Not with the writing so rich and mature. Not even another MAJOR cliffhanger turned me off. It’s just simply a great story beautifully written reminding romance lovers why we love a good, angsty love story. And it has me ready to climb in the front seat and continue riding through Dare and Reagan’s journey. Favorite Quotes: “But he was still Dare – arresting beauty of an art masterpiece and striking hardness of a sculpture.” “It’s clearly unrequited love. Sad and bittersweet. Dare was wearing that very same expression. It blazed a trail of heat to the depth of my soul. I knew without a doubt that my own look mirrored his.”

3 stars because I'm confused as all Hell Okay someone has I help me out because I'm super confused and i have questions. Why was Dare such an a-hole? Who the hell is Giselle? Three Years that despite trying – Reagan has had no contact with Dare. Three Years that she has missed him, every single day. But with this instalment, will her pain come to an end??? We find Reagan, stepping out on her own – trying desperately to forge a life for herself – having escaped, albeit secretly the clutches of her family to take up a position at a Gallery in Paris – searching out new talent amongst the multitude of unfound souls on the Seine. Unbeknown to Reagan, Dare is also in Paris, having relocated there to further develop his art and to try and secure his future. When Reagan sees him again it is both unexpected and painful, because Dare has moved on and while Reagan wants to make things right – he is not ready to let her back into his life. The pain that they inflict on each other is positively tangible, neither willing to give an inch but the feelings that they have are undeniable and we see them desperately trying to make what they have work. The story has an evolutionary pace about it – it flows much like you would expect a relationship to meander – to that effect the book is completely believable and for me its strongest asset. That is not to say that I don’t have a connection with the characters because believe me I do – I adore Dare – he is a real gem – a good guy trying to do the right thing and trying to protect his heart and as for Reagan well I whooped when I read she had managed to get away from her family -she has balls of steel but I know in my heart with her family, that she is going to need them! The relationship between these two is so powerful it is verging on obsessive and they both love and hate each other to some extent but underneath it all is a passion that is all consuming and amazing! Both authors have perfected the art of give just enough of hint of impending doom, that it sets your heart racing, just when you think that they have it worked out, a word or two raises that fear factor and you dread turning the next page. The ending broke my heart it was manipulative and cruel and left me screaming with rage – I won’t spoil it but OMG if it is possible to convey hate across the page then I now know that I hate her family and what on earth is Archer playing at!!!!! Part 3 can’t come soon enough – I NEED them to have a happy ending – my soul will be bereft if they don’t resolve the issues surrounding them. This is angst filled romance of the highest order, writing that is of the highest calibre and a story that is as captivating as it is heart-breaking.

Parlez-vous français (do you speak French) because Paris is Reagan’s destination, the city of love and new artists. Still suffering the loss of Dare and the dark memories of him she decides to lose herself in this beautiful city to begin again. Not happening, Dare is in Paris as well following his dream, painting. Seriously, are the authors are trying to give me a coronary so much angst, so much pain, so much hope. My heart was beating erratically, my breathing was rapid and tears formed in my eyes. So powerful, so intense I don't know if I can take another episode. Where Untamed #1 was impassioned, this is f^cking heartbreaking, excuse my French. Dare really pissed me off, he was so unforgiving, so cold, I almost wished Reagan would tell him to f^uck off ! “Finding closure could go fuck itself. I wanted Dare. Right now. And always. That was not going to change.” ~ Reagan So many emotions and just when I thought this is it, their forever the rug was pulled from under me. Even in Paris Reagan couldn’t escape her cunning parents and the result had me cursing like a dock worker at Dare, Yes..Dare! I need Ree and Dare to have their happily ever after and I hope it comes soon. The sex scenes are 5 alarm fire worthy, I wouldn’t expect anything less from Dare! I hope the authors don’t have me agonizing too long, I’m hoping future books will focus on Dare’s brothers Dash and DAX and not have me sitting at the edge of my seat shaking my kindle waiting for Dare and Reagan to find true happiness. Oh this book is Out Of Control alright...it's heart hurting heaven! Be prepared, I'm going to rant my little face off in this review. At the same time though, it was a roller coaster, bumper cars, and a tilt-a-whirl all in one. I wanted to smack Dare so many times and then turn around a squeeze him for his cute moments. There was even a moment I literally talked at my phone that he needed to get it through his thick skull that Reagan loves him! I know he's hurt...but come on man! On a lighter note, he's still pretty dang artsy and protective and sexy, oh yeah. Then, poor Reagan, she's finally on her own, doing her own thing, and getting her life back the way she wants it to only have it ripped apart at every turn. I mean Lucien, her parents, Archer, and even Dare...this girl can never catch a break. She's literally trying so hard to fight for everything she wants only to have it blow up in her face every time and I really honestly feel for her. I hope for much happier things in her future. I cannot believe with these first two novellas how much my emotions hurts...and I gotta get through four more for a (hopefully) happily ever after ending for these two, oh bless my poor heart. Speaking on the feeling bad, I felt bad for my boy Archer because I think he truly has feelings for Reagan and ends up getting thrown into her drama, too. Don't worry Archer, I got you, love HA! See, I told you I was going to rant a lot, but let me tell you...these books are absolutely amazing. They're eventful and sexy and filled with betrayal and hurt and steamy moments. I couldn't have loved it more. Ps. I changed my mind... Dash, DAX, and Archer are mine ;) Find this review at Shortie Says

Loved this. Fell in love and am brokenhearted all over again. Jinsey Reese and Victoria Green have done it again. It's three years after Dare split, and Ree finally digs out her courage, runs from her controlling parents, and goes to France to pursue her dreams in the art world. And whose art immediately captivate her on the streets of Paris? That's right -- Dare Wilde's. Feeling betrayed from the way things ended back in the U.S., Dare emerges in this story with seemingly impenetrable walls, but Ree eventually discovers that he's never been able to let her go. I thought the chemistry between the two was off the charts in book one, but they take their desire, desperation, and delicious interludes to an entirely new level; the level of emotion and the sexual tension between the characters is intense. As Ree and Dare's story progresses, we also get more hints about the ghosts that plague Ree and give her nightmares, which is a thread that continues to tease and intrigue. And speaking of nightmares, the ultimate predicament that Ree finds herself in may very well fill you with enough angst to cry. More, please!

Like the amazing art that Dare creates in Out of Control, these two ladies are showing the beautiful artistry behind writing a book that can capture people, and leave you with such strong feelings for the amazing characters, and the situations that take place in the book. They are able to paint a picture using words that is so incredibly vivid that you sometimes feel as though you’re watching the interactions between the characters being played out on canvas instead of on a page in a book. This Like the amazing art that Dare creates in Out of Control, these two ladies are showing the beautiful artistry behind writing a book that can capture people, and leave you with such strong feelings for the amazing characters, and the situations that take place in the book. They are able to paint a picture using words that is so incredibly vivid that you sometimes feel as though you’re watching the interactions between the characters being played out on canvas instead of on a page in a book. This book was so much deeper than I could have ever imagined it being. Having read Untamed, I knew Out of Control was going to be a really emotional “Episode” in the series, but I don’t think I was quite prepared for just how deep everything got. Right out of the gate you’re slammed with a lot of emotion, which is a really great thing especially if you read these books back to back. Having three years pass is a long time when it comes to the gap between books in a series, especially an episodic series such as this. But the fact these ladies were able to execute this and really give you the opportunity to catch up with what the characters had been up to for so long is testament to how extremely talented they are as authors. Once they catch you up on the characters lives, they send you diving head first into the continuation of Reagan and Dare’s story, and it is a wonderful story. Lets just take a moment to talk about the setting of this book too. Paris is such a beautiful setting for any book, and it's definitely a place I want to visit one day. It was also awesome how with the setting, they included the use of quite a few French words and phrases into the book (along with the meanings) which I really liked since I was able to learn a little more French as I was reading an awesome book. One of the things that I feel will pop up quite often in reviews of this book, as is the case with most NA books are the steamy scenes, or you can just be blunt and say the sex scenes. There are quite a few sex scenes in this book, but one thing I noticed really early on, during the first scene to be exact, is that it’s not about the sex. I actually made a tweet about four words that show up in the book early on that I feel define this episode in the story extremely well. Those were: “ Anger. Hurt. Tension. Desire.” These words have so much meaning in this episode of the story, and as you read through it I am sure you will see why I insist on pointing them out. I just really hope that people will take into consideration that there is something much deeper taking part in those scenes, that is so much more to all of it than just the sex. While I have nothing against seeing people talk about these scenes and saying how great they are, I just hope you will take the time to really look into what is going on and see what connections are there between Dare and Reagan and be able to see all of the things they are going through, and their means of dealing with the situations. There is a lot of foreshadowing in this episode as to what happened to Reagan. I am not going into a lot of detail here, as you really need to read and pay attention to the books to understand what I am talking about. But I feel like the way this was handled was perfect. It’s left me with so many questions as to what exactly happened, and why it’s so hard for her to talk about. I was able to come up with some of my own conclusions just through flashbacks or things that she said, but I am really not 100% sure and I will be waiting to find out what exactly happened as the episodes in this series progress. I loved how much of a role the art played in this book, even more so than the first. I mean in the first few pages you have Reagan walking around Paris looking for art for a friends gallery and it’s just such a fundamental part of the story when you take into consideration Dare, and how important art is to him. And how art is used to help build even stronger connections between Reagan and Dare, and this happens in many different ways. It’s just such an enjoyable aspect of the story. Out of Control is definitely packing another really surprising ending, I thought that the ending for Untamed was surprising but it ended up being very tame (Yay for clever word usage..) compared to the ending in Out of Control. I feel like a lot of the surprise with the ending in this book comes with the fact that things really pick up towards the end, so as you’re reading you are really not wanting the book to end, so by the time you get there it’s just that feeling of “Did that really just happen?” You get to see more of Reagan’s parents, and they are still up to their same games, but its so awesome seeing Reagan being so strong and independent and not allowing them to dictate her life. You also get to see Dax and Dalia towards the middle/end of the book and you can’t help but love these two. There is just so much that happens from around the middle part of the book until the end that you’re pretty much left breathless by the time you do finally reach the end and want to process everything that happened. There are a few major events that I know will end up surprising a lot of people, as they definitely surprised me but I can guarantee you that this book is well worth the read. You’re not going to have a dull moment. From the time you pick it up, until you get to the last sentence there will be enough drama and just pure awesomeness to keep you entertained the entire time. I can’t wait for book three (Escaped Artist) to be out as I am sure it will continue along the awesome path that the first two books have. I am hoping to see some more answers to questions I have, but seeing as it is a seven part series I am sure that just being patient will allow me to get all of the questions I have answered by the time the seventh book finally arrives. Both of these authors have proven how talented they are as writers, and I am extremely excited to be able to continue on with this series and see how it all turns out. And I hope that all of you will do the same. I really hope that you all will check out this series, I know this is an extremely long review but I had a blast writing it, and I had even more fun reading the book. If you haven’t read Untamed, I will include an Amazon link to it for you below, along with my review of it so you can read over it too if I haven’t helped you make up your mind yet. I read this book an an ARC - and this is one of the few times I wished there were more than 5 stars...yes, this series is that good! In the first book of this series we were introduced to Reagan and Dare who came from completely different lives and found each other a relationship neither was planning or thought was possible with each other. However, it was torn from them too soon by her family when her father decided to run for Governor. Their daughter could not be with "that" guy. All of the feelings she thought were under control are back and she wants nothing more than to run to him...but he is hurt and angry and makes it very clear that she made her choice and there is nothing to talk about. This book is written so well that my heart felt every emotion Reagan went through. It was an intense and amazing book and I am so grateful that I was able to get it early as an ARC. I cannot wait for the rest of the series...I need more Reagan and Dare!

As you continue to follow the story of Reagan McKinley and Dare Wilde, be prapared to feel every single emotions Ree and Dare go thru out the book. We left off where Reagan and Dare separated thanks to Reagan father black mailing her. This book was so good it hurt. There were edge of the seat moments when I forgot to breathe and had to remind myself later. There were moments that infuriated me when I wanted to jump through the pages and yell at them both. There were heart stopping moments when I felt that everything in their little world was going to be okay and that love really does win out in the end. Then the hell of a cliffhanger happened. I need this next book and them together like I need air to breathe.

Full review is posted My Book Filled Life Another solid read about Dare and Ree and their tumultuous love story. The emotions haven't changed, even after being apart for three years, and just when it looks like things are back on the right track for them, another bombshell is dropped that could possibly be the end of Dare and Ree.

4.5 STARS Out Of Control is part two of six in the Untamed serial by Victoria Green and Jinsey Reese. Dare and Reegan’s story is so beautiful yet so hard at times to read. You want so much for them to get past all the bullshit and just be together because, damnit, anyone reading this can see how much they NEED to just be together. So, I totally fell for Dare and Reegan’s story in Untamed and was dying, although a bit scared to continue in Out of Control. I mean three years have passed, THREE 4.5 STARS Out Of Control is part two of six in the Untamed serial by Victoria Green and Jinsey Reese. Dare and Reegan’s story is so beautiful yet so hard at times to read. So, I totally fell for Dare and Reegan’s story in Untamed and was dying, although a bit scared to continue in Out of Control. I mean three years have passed, THREE YEARS! This just breaks my little heart! Although necessary for the story, I am never a big fan of time passing like that, for some reason all that wasted time just makes me so sad for them. All the same, Out of Control picks up three years after Untamed in Paris where Reegan is working for the gallery for the summer and surprisingly where Dare is living. It is clear from the moment you see these two together again that the special spark they have is still there, but here is where it gets heartbreaking, Dare is determined to push Reegan away. She hurt him so bad he just cannot relive that. Although personally, I believe this is such a pigheaded man move because he hurt her too when he disappeared (as she points out.) The sexual chemistry in this book is off the charts as I knew it would be after reading Untamed. Dare is a bit more stubborn and hard headed, much as a hurt man often is. Reegan is somewhat more mature and understanding of the fact that she needs to get out from under her family’s thumb if she wants any kind of real life for herself. I love me a serial but I have to say I am dying for these two to get their HEA. Reegan has her demons that I believe she will need to sort through first. And Dare, oh Dare he will have to work past his hurt of the rejection he felt from Reegan. I do believe these two can make it work (oh and they better) but I also believe that the authors are gonna make me work for it! Out of Control is very well written and I never would have guessed it had two authors. I cannot tell where one began and the other picked up. I am so exited for this story to continue, I think it is safe to say I am hooked! ~miranda

Then come back and one click out of control cause you are going to be hooked. There are no words to explain how much I am sucked into this story Complimentary copy provided by author/publisher for an honest review Seriously these books are playing games with my heart! This series is like my own personal drug and I don't think I will ever get a proper fix, just a high when reading only to come crashing down when I realize I've reached the end. There are no words to explain how much I am sucked into this story and how much I yearn for more. Reagan has tried to move on and escape the clutches of her controlling family. Their needs are always put before hers and she has had enough. She needed to get away and prove to them she could make it on her own. Where better to pursue her passion for art then in Paris? But it also led her to her other passion, Dare. Hot Damn Dare!! He is still sexy as hell but his demeanor throughout this book had me clutching my own chest in pain. My stomach knotted on numerous occasions and I couldn't help but also cry from the constant rejection of his feelings towards Reagan. I get it. I mean the love of your life denies her knowledge of you when you wanted to be there for her, but she did it for you! Dare and Reagan both have issues that will make you want to reach into the book and slap the sh*t out of them. At the same time you sympathize and understand, it’s such a cluster f*ck!! Reagan's character has made great strides from the once pill popping, party, and one night stand kind of gal. I can't help but feel proud of Reagan's actions to try to disconnect from her family which are absolutely poison. I loathe them so much and let me tell you, if you thought they had stooped low in the last book just you effing wait. UGH. It still amazes me that these authors can produce so much content, drama, and emotion in so few pages but to be able to do that takes talent. I cannot wait for the next book as my heart is literally hanging on by thread. Beyond 5 *wink* read!!!!! Book Flirts by Jessi

“The past three years had felt as if I was missing half of my heart, half of my soul.” SERIOUSLY!!! Again?!?! I have a love/hate relationship with this series, so far. I fell hard for Dare and Raegan’s story in Untamed and I was so hopefully that I could get just a tiny bit of closure on them in Out of Control. NOPE!!! I was only left so damn FRUSTRATED, again!!! But, don’t forget I said I love it ;) …”what I really wanted—the only thing in the world I wanted—was Dare.” I think I highlighted half “The past three years had felt as if I was missing half of my heart, half of my soul.” SERIOUSLY!!! But, don’t forget I said I love it ;) …”what I really wanted—the only thing in the world I wanted—was Dare.” I think I highlighted half of this story because there were so many lines that either broke my heart, melted my heart, or made me laugh out loud. I had high hopes that 3 years was going to change a lot for them but nope, these two have given we whiplash with their back and forth. They want each other and then they don’t. Or actually that was mostly Dare, but who could blame him! “And why in fuck’s name couldn’t I resist him? He was like the worst kind of addiction to the most amazing drug I’d ever had.” This series has become an addiction of mine and I can’t wait to jump right in to the next one to see where they are going next. Because, honestly, I am so damn tired of seeing Dare walk away. It’s about time for these two actually have a conversation and figure out what they want from one another. “The ball was in Dare’s court now, but he wasn’t even interested in playing the game.” Again, I can say that the authors did an amazing job at packing this novella with everything you need to enjoy and crave more of this series. This one is jam packed with drama, though, so prepare yourself for a stressed out couple of hours to read it ;) I am an official Dare and Raegan fan and HIGHLY recommend you all get your hands on this series immediately!! *Review copy received from the authors for an honest review*

Dare was done with Ree after she turned him away in the hospital, and this second installment takes us 3 years into the future where he's a struggling artist in Paris. I loved the setting and the fact that Dare and his family were all doing better for themselves, though I wish we hadn't missed SO much of their lives. I would have preferred a year or so to have passed, but I guess this was what worked better for the storyline. I would have preferred a year or so to have passed, but I guess this was what worked better for the storyline. When Ree sees Dare for the first time in so long, she's desperate to smooth things over. She had looked for him and come up empty, assuming they would never cross paths again; to see him in Paris where her love of art had pulled her, well that was just a huge bonus. If he ever forgave her. The push-and-pull between Dare and Ree and the emotional toll everything took was exciting. And yeah, they are crazy hot together, so I couldn't wait for the make up sex to begin! I really enjoyed the first book in this serial, and while I still love Dare and can't wait for these two to have their HEA, Ree really got to me with her weaknesses this time. It bothered me in the first book, how she allowed her parents to manhandle her and force her to live how they wanted, and she's still doing that here to an extent. I was really hoping the move to Paris would mean she finally stood up to these miserable people, but it was more like she was in hiding. SHe literally packed up and left in the hopes she could get to Europe without them finding a way to stop her, and I wanted to scream "You are an ADULT!" When she wasn't cowering from her parents, she was feeling weak and needing pills and alcohol, so ugh I just struggled to like her again this time around. I'm still hooked on these and plan to finish, but I am very much looking forward to being out of Ree's mind and in Dare's for awhile in the next installment!

You know that you are sucked into a series when you want to call your friends and say, “Sorry I can’t come hang out tonight, I have something more important to do,” and then hang up and start reading book number three. That is what I feel like doing right now. Reese and Green’s characters Dare and Reagan have captured my heart even more. I know that they are perfect together, the whole world knows that they are perfect together (minus the McKinleys,) but fate keeps intervening. I know that they are perfect together, the whole world knows that they are perfect together (minus the McKinleys,) but fate keeps intervening. I hate fate in this book! This series keeps building on the intensity of Dare and Reagan’s relationship and it is just so real and natural. What I mean by that is I can see two people, coming from different backgrounds, struggling to fight for their love with each other when outside forces are tearing them apart. After Reagan denies knowing Dare at the end of the first book, which she did to protect him, she knows that she is still madly in love with him, even after three years. So when she finally runs across him in Paris, she wants nothing else but him. However, Dare is very resistant to her arrival, and understandably so. But you know that he still holds the same amount of love for her that he did in the past but it is that struggle he shows to not have his heart rip out again that makes this book so real. Oh, what a rollercoaster of emotions this book is but it is worth every gasp. This part was pure gold to me; it actually took my breath away: “I stared at Dare, tears in my eyes, and held up two fingers. Two parts. He held up one finger. One whole.” Bloody fantastic!

Out of Control, the second in the Untamed series, is the next steamy installment of Dare and Reagan's story.
