I have decided to not review this book, it just didn't work for me... but, I would like to thank the author for the time, effort and heart that she invested in this story.

2.2 Stars I actually have no words for this train wreck except that the poor narrator did the best he could with the material he was given; a whole star just for his performance.

DNF, good gracious this was terrible. with the internal thoughts, stilted writing, and just plain boring characters. a cardio Dr, surgery nurse, human trafficking truck driver. was just too much for me to try and wade through. and the rushing pace especially the Dr and his need to provide for the tiny nurse. pulease.

I should have read the reviews for this before starting. The blurb sounded interesting and I am sure the story could have been amazing. However, it was just all wrong. Repetitive, cheesy, OTT, inconsistent, just nope, all of it. The narrator tried, really tries, but the writing just didn't work. Also the voice he used for Dare made him sound like he was breathless and edgy all the time. And I am normally a fan of the endearment "baby" but in this book it was way too much. I cringed my way through this book and stopped many times before finishing. **my biggest problem is that it is a series and I have a hard time not following it to the end. So do I risk book 2???? ***

I came into this book with expectations of a solid read and was disappointed, to say the least. I could not finish the book. I found one character to be a whiny, annoying emo with serious mommy issues and the other to be a somewhat manipulative asshole willing to go to some extreme lengths to get the whiny emo dependant on him. The writing was stilted, repeative and they spent so much time thinking and talking- always about the same damned thing- that it took forever to get past the filler to re I came into this book with expectations of a solid read and was disappointed, to say the least. OK l have to say this book is not for everyone. before l bought it l looked at the reviews for it most people had a problem with how possessive Derek is and how young (or how young he looked) Aden is. so if you are not into possessive boyfriend type books and into older man (not that Derek was old though) with younger looking man. DO NOT READ IT. anyway l thought it was a nice book l enjoyed it. the characters were great, good writing, nice love story and really great ending. 3 stars from me.

Audio book: Audio quality: good; Narration: OK It had potential but was unfortunately unrehearsed and poorly written. The simplest things were explained again and again, the characters were flat, immature, unrealistic and dimwitted to an extend that they felt smart for knowing the meaning of common words, there were a lot of technical error in the description of various procedures and work protocols and even the usage of German word "Aus" meaning "Shut down; switch off; being out of"!

Wow, wehave the trafficker, kidnappers, drug cartel, FBI and other law enforcement, and a whole host of characters. It has a lot of danger, action and love between our doctor and the nurse. Good story and well written.

Great new series! I really liked this story. Aden and Dare meet unexpectedly and Dare offers help to Aden. Aden is alone and on his own so he takes up Dare's offer, only to find out that there is a bigger danger to Aden. Through time, Aden reconnects with his Mom and both he and Dare finally face head on the danger that is hunting Aden. Well written, great storyline and pace, characters that fit well and move the plot along. I am looking forward to the next story in this series!

Aden I really liked this book so many books have the main characters fall in love over night regardless of what they been through but this book was different it jumped to four months later when the story opens up which is a good amount of time for people to get to know each other the book was well written and well thought out I liked all the characters and hope to see more of them in future books I have a bunch of books by A.C Katt and really enjoyed most of them so if this is your first take the Aden I really liked this book so many books have the main characters fall in love over night regardless of what they been through but this book was different it jumped to four months later when the story opens up which is a good amount of time for people to get to know each other the book was well written and well thought out I liked all the characters and hope to see more of them in future books I have a bunch of books by A.C Katt and really enjoyed most of them so if this is your first take the time to check out the rest.

Great Aden was very lucky that Dare needed gas and saw him and offered help . Dare is surgeon at the local hospital ,while stopping for gas he saw a young man needing help . Aden is a nurse who luckily escaped his ex boyfriend who had planned to sell him in slavery . It takes the FBI ,local police and Dare to keep Aden alive . Great story .

I thought it was well written and had great characters and a well planned story line. I am looking forward to reading the next one in the series.

Premise had promise, but not executed well. Lots of unrealistic daily life stuff that detracted. Magically conjured deviled eggs. I so wanted this to be good, but it wasn't.
