I enjoy Art Nouveau and this is a nice book. One of many art books that belonged to my late wife it's one that I have held onto as I enjoy this particular school of art.

I've always loved the aesthetic of Art Noveau artwork, particularly the style of illustration. This book, which has handsome glossy pages and is thoroughly illustrated with color photographs and reproductions throughout, gave me a good introduction to the influences of Art Noveau, the movement's major players, and the lasting influence of the style. If you're already familiar with the movement and its place in art history, you more than likely won't learn anything new, but if you're like me and I've always loved the aesthetic of Art Noveau artwork, particularly the style of illustration. A great introduction to Art Nouveau, its major players in furniture, painting, sculpture, architecture, jewelry, pottery, glass and all other mediums. Filled with glossy illustrations of all that is gorgeous and rare, this book is wonderful for someone wanting to familiarize themselves with the movement and those who are followers. I loved the historical background of Art Nouveau influences and the new art trends it fostered.
