Hatred & Integrity is an amazing read for anyone who is interested in history, specifically World War II. Hatred is a fictionalized account of a meeting between Adolf Hitler and August Kubizek. They had been roommates when they were in school 30 years prior to this meeting. It showed just how far Hitler had gone down the road toward pure, unadulterated hatred of anyone, and anything that was not German. This account was disturbing, showing just how deep Hitler's hatred for the Jewish people went Hatred & Integrity is an amazing read for anyone who is interested in history, specifically World War II. Integrity detailed Winston Churchill's meeting with Franklin Roosevelt in the United States. This account showed compassion and the two world leaders' commitment to doing what is right, and how they wanted to save their nations from tyranny. I really enjoyed this book, and look forward to reading more from the author, Rich DiSilvio.

DiSilvio is the modern day Herman Wouk, whose writing style became so cherished during his career. The attention to every detail makes the reader of DiSilvios' enter into the realm of the every conversation as if we have transcended space and time. Rich is a master of this just as Wouk was. If it were possible to cast a vote I would heartily recommend his works be put into miniseries form for TV. These two short tales, in a short and very sweet read, feature the hatred of Hitler and the integrity of Winston Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt. It's riveting, revealing, and having the comfort of hindsight, comforting to know that great men stood against the evil of Hitler. If you are a fan of history then you will be pleased with this very entertaining piece of historical fiction.

This booklet features two compelling snapshots in time. DiSilvio knows how to capture your attention with gripping dialogue. The subject matter is vast and pertinent, and the characters' personalities and motives really come to life. Kudos for packing so much into such a succinct exercise. For a fast read you really get a powerful taste for each of these men. This is a good place to start for anyone who has never read anything by this author before. A great appetizer so to speak.
