well it was fun so to speak , in terms of plot progression very little happened so that's a dissapointment but i think this was Dan Jurgens trying to set plot for bigger events, it also seems that the Lois , Diana Friendship angle will be making a return which again being a throwback to the good ol' days back when NEW 52 didn't happen would be welcomed with open arms. That said i need to remind you what i said earlier - Plot progression was nil & although i really did like the art in this the my well it was fun so to speak , in terms of plot progression very little happened so that's a dissapointment but i think this was Dan Jurgens trying to set plot for bigger events, it also seems that the Lois , Diana Friendship angle will be making a return which again being a throwback to the good ol' days back when NEW 52 didn't happen would be welcomed with open arms. That said i need to remind you what i said earlier - Plot progression was nil & although i really did like the art in this the mysteries of Superman and Clark remain and so does the mystery of Mr Oz (it's ozymandias i know it ) or any other countless other mysteries , basically it's not too good to be praise worthy and neither too bad to be booed upon

Really enjoying this Superman story against Doomsday. Doomsday is one of my favorite villains so this action-packed fight has been great. This issue had more dialogue with the Kents that I loved. Overall this issue just had more character development and is my favorite of the Action Comics so far.

Wonder Woman joins the fight against Doomsday! She and Superman might be too much for the monster as he seems to turn tail and run, but is that really his intention? Jurgens changes things up a little bit this issue by lightening up on the action and adding a great scene between Superman and his family. Seeing the love and depth of their relationship really adds a nice grounding to this version of Superman. It makes him a much richer character to have these emotional connections. The New 52 serie Wonder Woman joins the fight against Doomsday! The New 52 series never achieved that and it really made them feel flat. It really makes you want to root for Superman even more knowing that he’s got greater personal stakes behind him. Even Wonder Woman gets a nice exchange with Lois that feels genuine and organic. This was my favorite scene in the issue. Now that’s not to say that Superman slamming a bus over Doomsday’s head wasn’t fun! We see more of Doomsday acting with a subtle intelligence again here, implying there might be some degree of control supplied by a shadowy observer. This is the primary mystery set up here, as the “human” Clark Kent and Lex Luthor stories take a back seat for now. There’s a lot going on here, but all of it is intriguing and pulls me into the next issue. The portrayal of Wonder Woman this issue may be just too “cute” for me. There are a few times throughout the issue that she has a cute “amine girl” smile going on in moments that should be more intense. I see Wonder Woman as more of a serious warrior, but Kirkham’s anime/manga leanings undercut that somewhat here. While I generally like his portrayal of Diana, I don’t think he gets her determination or expressions correct all the time. Still, an interesting and exciting issue that keeps this story compelling.

3.75 When Wonder Woman joins the battle, I thought it would spice up the event but it didn't especially when Doomsday suddenly escaped. Then it comes out that the reason he escaped is because he was able to sense Jon when he unleashed his powers due to extreme happiness (Doomsday has the ability to sense Kryptonians, which I think everyone knows). This heightened my excitement a bit and then fluctuate again...

Review: 9.0/10 I literally understand every single complaint about this run so far. I understand not much has happened and all this has been is a giant battle since issue one and normally I would agree with all these complaints. But I love it so much. I like the new added angel with Jon now being in danger too. Anything ever done with Jon has been done so good in my opinion, I think he is such a nice way of humanizing Superman a little more and giving him a weak spot. When I saw that Wonder Woman was going to be in this issue I got so excited. I am such a big Wonder Woman fan and I like literally every direction taken with her and the Super family. I like how she understands completely that this is another Superman with his own relationships, and I love how there is no petty jealousy towards Lois because this is really not her Superman. It all just helps invigorate these female characters and show that they have clear focus on what matters. The art was brilliant and detailed as always. Towards the end when the emotional core of the book happens between Superman and Jon you can see the background going softer and turning almost into watercolor. It was a nice way of changing the mood from this fast paced, destructive action into a more heartfelt and personal story.

5 stars Who is the mysterious figure watching Superman? He must be revealed soon or else it is going to become annoying waiting for him to reveal himself. The reveal better not be lame either. Doomsday disappears all of a sudden & Lois & Clark realize that he might be going for Jon since Doomsday can sense Kryptonians. Lois meets Wonder Woman & Diana understands that Clark & Lois is everlasting. I am glad she knows what is up. Clark & Lois have the cutest moment just before Doomsday arrives. What is the deal with the human Clark Kent? Why is he so useless?

I am enjoying the new direction of the Super-man line of books with Superman, Lois, and their son Jon and how Jon is learning about his powers. Then bring in the unstoppable force known as Doomsday ( the real one, not the New52 virus thing). And I'm loving this. Throw in Wonder Woman. And then add in amazing art...awesomeness.

An okay wrap-up to the fighting though I find a lot of questions being set aside for later explanation and I don't care about any of them for that to add any suspense. Especially the Jon and Lois parts, there's a lot of unnecessary exposition. I like Wonder Woman's appearance and how she usually says/does the practical thing while being thrilled to be in the fight. She redeems the comic for me.

Another action packed storyline that continues the action comics return. Doomsday is always a worthy opponent for Superman. The mystery of the true villain is yet to be revealed but in time we will learn.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. This is my favorite of this Doomsday arc. Wonder Woman joins the fight. She is looking for answers about the human Clark Kent, too, but they are too busy with the monster. There is some real tension when Superman realizes Doomsday is after his son.

Please someone end this misery. Wonder Woman showed up, but still very little has happened. The fight is still going on, but in a different location now. Refocusing to Jon as target as nice, but this mysterious all-seeing villain conceit is so painfully dumb that it doesn't matter.

Really great, fun issue! I'm really suprised at how much I'm liking the Superman stuff over Batman. I hope we get to see more Lois/Wonder Woman interactions!
