Each novella is an important part of the whole in the Mutation Z series by Marilyn Peake. Her writing amazes me, bringing the characters and the world they created to life. The Zombie Virus was developed by some of the most evil men ever to walk this earth, all for their own gain and self interest. The brutality they dealt out as the blood and guts flew, the lives that were lost as the good people struggled to expose the conspiracy, is shocking. I felt this story rang of possibilities, that something like this could really happen. Maybe not exactly as written, but when push comes to shove, the elite will sacrifice anything and anyone to get what they want. If you want to be shocked, pissed off, saddened, frightened, left with food for thought, then Mutation Z is for you. To see more visit fundinmental

I first read this as individual novellas in the series. It was fun to finish one and make myself wait until the next night to read another. Those with power and money want more power and money and don’t hesitate to unleash hell on the innocent to fulfill their own desires. What happens is wrong on so many levels. You’re put through the emotional wringer as characters struggle to survive and make sense of the end of their world. Once the human monsters let loose the Z Virus, the zombies wreak havoc and blood and brains splatter throughout. Marilyn knows how to please her zombie fans. I’m one of those zombie fans and ate this up! I was gifted a copy of this book. My review is voluntarily given.

What a great series. I saw the initial idea of combining the fascinating Ebola virus with zombies and just had to read it. Similar initially to the feeling of the excellent Outbreak by Robin Cook, this quickly becomes a story all of its own. Incredibly strong characters, an ever darkening plot, and major corporate greed mixed with government conspiracy, all combine to keep you reading until the end. This is gruesome as much as it is dangerously close to reality in certain areas. These books will What a great series. A fantastic series that I would recommend to fans of Zombies, Conspiracy Theories and anyone not afraid to challenge their way of thinking.

This series absolutely fascinating..... When greedy pharmaceutical manufacturers and politicians purposely start a pandemic of zombies while trying to create weponized zombies, it turns out to be a total disaster. But when they turn them loose on innocent citizens of not only enemies but innocent US citizens for political gain, it really gets nasty. Highly recommended🐩

Absolutely Fantastic This series was amazing! I was hooked from the beginning. I had a few sleepless nights reading, as I could not put it down. The twists and characters are well built and keep you guessing. I couldn't predict anything that happened. I highly recommend this series to everyone!!!!!

Zombies in this world I really liked this book. Imagine if it was true that zombies plague infested the earth and only a few people were immune. A cure was found and given to the infected. Would people learn to get along and have peace on earth

Well wrote Well written but prefer nitty gritty zombie books Very political not so much zombies as the reporter side is the viewpoint it's written from.

This way a good zombie book with only a few weak parts. It start with a outbreak of Ebola and spins out to a world-wide conspiracy, which wasn't that far off in being possible. The weak areas was too much back story of the characters. Some of it seemed to be padding and did add to or advance the story.

So full of left wing political stereotypes and propaganda Kept finding myself skimming over paragraphs hoping it would get better I thought I purchased a zombie novel but was very disappointed with the characters and story line becoming something boring and bland.

Good story Nice, quick read, not too science based and a new twist on the Zombie genre. I enjoyed the book but the ending was a little weak
