Summary of poems Imperfect Mason You can't run from your past. She knows how relationship end. Care for what you have today. She will not forgive him tonight or near in days. He is incomplete without her. Don't start before you know the ending. He want to control himself so that she doesn't left him again. Don't pretend to be okay because it hurts you more. Guilt consume us fully. Memories come on there time not when we ask them. Love is not always about lust. They won't go far from each other with baggage. Self destruction leads to downfall. Truth is a tick-tock bomb. One mistake destroy relationship. We all cry for one thing or other after we lost it. He want her exclusive. He feel the pain of separation and betrayal. Julia She doesn't want to be alone. Past will die down before he dies. We want to deny but don't do it because we are weak from heart to break it. Take me and make memories , then you can leave me i can survive with your memories. Just hold strong and leave the past. People judge us but do that too. Relationship start with love and end with war. Was writing a poem, and write all lies in it. Only when you love truly you got judge and guilt do all the work. When left with nothing nothing can kill. She finally move on from love. She is nobody keep. She was in search of him but didn't find him. He try to run from past but beaten up.

Blog | Twitter | Instagram | Review also found here. I should start with one thing. I've not read the novel that this collection of poetry was inspired by. So, if you are a fan of this particular release, I'd say to not take my review seriously. Honestly--take what I say with a grain of salt. I am not going to lie to you and said I loved this collection or the works featured within it. Because I just couldn't connect with it in the way that I need to when reading poems. I am not going to lie to you and said I loved this collection or the works featured within it. Because I just couldn't connect with it in the way that I need to when reading poems. I didn't find it compelling. I did not hate it, but it felt like a release I'd read a hundred times over. This, perhaps, is because I read a lot of poetry. I felt like there was little to no life behind the words and that it just wasn't living up to the potential it had. If I had a bit more context and read the original novel, I feel as though I might feel the same disappointment in it. Willow Winters is by no means a bad writer. I can see her prose shine in the sentences but only in fragments. You know what I mean? It was there, somewhere, hidden beneath the surface. Imperfect lacked a genuine vibe to it for me. That does not mean it won't for you, her, or the fans. Because, at the end of the day, it just was not my cup of tea.

Complete reading this in just one go... I must say that the poems are really well and it also heart breaking sometimes. Fully enjoyed every poem. The stories are also well structured, readers can feel the pain, heartbreak and hidden desires while reading it. The cover could have been better. But still it's okay! The plot is really well organised . Language is perfect . Must read!

I hate to say that I didn't care for this too much. It is a very short book, that has poetry in it based on the novel Imperfect, but to me, the poetry wasn't very good, and was way too morose for me, all it seemed to talk about was how hurt he or she was, how depressed they were, how they had better hold on to today, as tomorrow isn't a sure thing, nothing really upbeat or positive, and isn't love supposed to be upbeat and happy SOME of the time??! This small book also included a "sneak peek"look at the novel of Imperfect. I wasn't impressed with that, either. It was negative and depressing, too, about how he was hurting, or she was hurting, how they wanted each other so badly, but knew they couldn't/shouldn't be together, yada, yada...If the whole novel us like this, I don't think I want to read it, sorry to say. I gave it three stars, but am thinking of changing it down to two stars the more I ponder on it. I'm rather disappointed, I was hoping Willow Winters' novel was going to be much better.

Deep. Intense. This book gave me a chills while reading it. So much pain. So much intensity of love. I don't know about the novel but this collection of poem is good. The writer Willow Winters has done an amazing job.

Meh. Kinda cheesy, although some were pretty spot on. This felt more like high school assignments to write poetry though. Pretty sure this was just meant to be used to persuade the reader to buy the two books that come after. And dammit, the first book was free. And I started reading it. And now I have to buy book two. So. Her marketing plan worked. Damn. I don't even like the first book and I'm at 50%. I also feel bad now for insulting her poetry since I can definitely NOT write poetry. Not Meh. Also, if you have the first book, you don't need this. Only the first quarter of it is poetry, and it's the poems at the beginning of each chapter in the book. The last 3/4 are teasers/previews for the series.

Each poem left me broken-winded with heavy feelings going deep in my heart. They made me feel the raw intensity of a powerful attraction between two souls that have known that their time together was limited by a past that linked them in a bizarre way; a past that involves sins and secrets. This book tells us how the lies can destroy love before it’s even begun, how it is condemned before knowing the kindnesses that such a pure feeling is capable of causing. In a world dominated by power and seduction, there is not a chance for love. Willow Winters has the ability to surprise me. She is a versatile and talented writer. She can write anything and it would be a bestselling. Her poetry is brilliantly addictive. I find it compelling and full of feelings that make it shine. The words and sentences written in it connected instantly to my soul.

Amazing poems Poems are meant to flow in a way similar to water. Meant to grab you quickly, tug on all your emotions, and leave you breathless. And that is just what Willow Winters did in this collection. Each poem conveyed a message and tugged on every emotion. Whether I felt the pain of the character or was transported to the a place fitting the poem. Each poem was chosen in a manner so that they flowed nicely together. It was almost like reading a story, but written in poetry format. Which is Amazing poems Poems are meant to flow in a way similar to water. Even though I haven't read the book Imperfect, this collection of poems was an awesome read in itself! The poems, though short were beautifully written and heart touching. The words and emotions used were real, right from the heart of the poet. I enjoyed reading each and every one of those beautiful poems, and will be re-reading them from time to time! I'll also make sure to suggest this poetry collection to everyone who's interested in poetry!

Very few poems thee rest of the book is a sample of the book which the poems are based of but the poems that were written were good for a free ebook about love and lies. Was stuck whether to give this book a 3 or 4 star rating due to the lack of actual poetry but decided quality over quantity and went with 4

Beautiful Very well written and tells a perfect story. A tragic but beautiful story. I loved Imperfect and the poetry in the book. So glad to have it on its own. Very different from my normal reads.

Breathtakingly thought provoking. An interesting case of cause and effect. Between his Kira and her grief, their love was born, however, all good things in life must come to an end.
