Awesome short story. Keep up the fine work Tom, and ignore the 1 star reviews of the dolphins.

Very funny. I will never look at Dolphins the same way again.

I find these books funny. I am not a libertarian and sometimes that point of view can get a wee bit thick, but its pure campy humor and I appreciate good ridiculousness. My fellow snowflakes might be a wee bit offended about some of the views the characters take, but we can all agree that you cant take anyone with a man bun seriously. However I do support anyones right to wear such a thing, though I will still giggle. Get ready for manatee and dolphin worlds gone wild with interstellar weaponry. I find these books funny. No one is safe from bad puns, and campy criticisms. Adam Baldwin does a fabulous job narrating these books and it’s all very delightfully silly. It may get a little too libertarian in a spot or two but nobody’s perfect and the author does make fun of himself as well.

The world is awesome. Fantastic followup to the original, which is one of my very favorite audio experiences of all time. Correia is hilariously irreverent (I don't recommend this to you if you're an easily offended snowflake). Adam Baldwin, the narrator, is perfect once again. 4 stars because it doesn't quite hit the same high notes as hard as the original. But man do I want them to make more of these.

Mr. Correia took the fourth wall, planted some C-4 under it then detonated it with a shell from a tank. This interdimensional romp pokes fun at just about everyone, including himself and the narrator, Adam Baldwin. He takes us on a journey between dimensions in search of a kidnapped Manatee with the help of the most unlikely hero you can imagine. I won't even tell you who the bad guy's henchmen are, because you just would not believe me! Larry Correia delivers again!! Tom Stranger is a love song to his readers. Pure fluff and social commentary. It was 2 hours of side splitting laughter and fun. We, the loyal followers of the International Lord of Hate, thank him for this opus.

I love these books. They are just enough fictional ridiculousness to make you giggle and forget the real-life crazy that is going on in the world. Adam Baldwin's delivery is great. All the stars!

Not as good as the first book, and quite short (like REALLY short). Feels like fanfic with all the nods/crossovers/appearances, but I still enjoyed it. Adam Baldwin is a fantastic narrator.

Loved it. I hope he writes many more of these. The Trump tweets killed me. Great narration.

This was pretty funny. If you liked the first one, you'll probably like this one. My only complaint is some of the voice choices from Adam Baldwin. 1) Why did he give the Colonel Sanders knockoff a weird lispy voice instead of a proper "southern gentleman" accent? 2) I know that this is satire and therefore much fun is made of certain people, but simply using a mocking tone that no human ever actually speaks with when voicing one such person is about the most immature and lazy form of humor This was pretty funny. Overall, though, I enjoyed it. Either you're the audience for this story or you aren't. I'm not sure, but this one may be even more in-jokey (meaning you've got to keep up with the author's blog to get some of the jokes/references) than the previous one.

Series Info/Source: This is the 2nd book in the Tom Stranger series. I bought this audiobook through Audible.com Audiobook Quality (4/5): This was a decent audiobook, fairly similar to the first in the series in quality. I will say though that I found the more frequent manatee and dolphin sounds kind of jarring and annoying. Story (3/5): I really loved the first book in this series but the second book just fell flat to me. Story (3/5): I really loved the first book in this series but the second book just fell flat to me. Too much bitching about low star reviews and dolphins and not enough story to actually bite into. Honestly I think after the first book some of the novelty just wore off for me. This story just seemed really thin and lacking. Characters (3/5): I don’t enjoy Jimmy the Intern so the whole focus around him finding his inner agent seemed just stupid to me. Tom Stranger is in the book as well but he took a back seat to Jimmy this time. Setting (3/5): This is again set across multi-dimensional Earths. There wasn’t as much talk about this in this book. Writing Style (3/5): There are still some funny parts in here and the humor is snappy and comes non-stop. However, I didn't get this one for free (I actually paid for it) and felt like there just wasn't enough there. This just felt really unfinished like it was a quick side project to follow up the first story. Summary (3/5): Overall I didn’t enjoy this book nearly as much as the first one. I think maybe the novelty wore off some. The story was pretty thin and the focus on Jimmy the Intern was obnoxious. Also all the discussion about Tom focusing on how to get a better rating on the first audiobook was weird and a bit annoying. I won’t be reading anymore books in this series if there are some.

Wendell the Manatee has been kidnapped after a press conference held by Stranger & Stranger due to the fallout with Dolphins - and the Manatees are PISSED. Jimmy the Intern's review is coming up and this is the first time Tom has ever questioned a bad review of an employee, but Jimmy IS the main reason the Dolphins and Manatees are threatening to destroy everything! Why couldn't Jimmy had picked a useful major?!? Why couldn't Jimmy had picked a useful major?!? While listening to book 1 during a road trip with my too-young-for-this-book son, he asked me to pause it and check if there was a book 2. Of course I knew there was and he quickly seconded my suggestion to get it so we could continuously listen to them back to back. This was in April, and he is still referencing these books (it's July now). We are not-so-patiently awaiting book 3, so HURRY THE HELL UP AND WRITE IT ALREADY, CORREIA.

This short story is hilarious! And if youre already a fan of actor Adam Baldwin and familiar with all of his roles, then its even more fun. This audiobook is much like the kinds of characters Baldwin typically plays - set in a reality-bending world, but tempered by a stoic, conservative lead character (hero?) that somehow makes all the craziness seem completely normal. This is a sequel, though I didnt know that when I started. It didnt matter though...it was still thoroughly enjoyable, and now I This short story is hilarious! Audiobook, narrated by Adam Baldwin. Funny if you havent read anything else by Larry Correa, and hilarious if you have. Residents of Earth 169-J-00561 will either be tickled or triggered by various characters, but at least we now know two things. 1. A relentless commitment to provide quality customer service can overcome a myriad of personal and professional shortcomings. 2. Its nice to have Danny Trejo on your side in any dimension. I listened to this book a couple of days ago, and I still can't stop laughing at some of the things in it. I love the humour in it. And I had to give kudos for the Aussie Man Reviews reference. Larry always writes great characters, and dialogue, and he excelled himself this time. I give this book a 5 star review of satisfying my customer expectations. Dolphins suck.. heheheheh

Novella starring Tom Stranger, interdimensional insurance agent, as read by actor Adam Baldwin. With tongue firmly in cheek, funny and often hilarious tale of Tom and his SJW sidekick Jimmy looking for a missing manatee whose absence could spell doom for Earth. Enjoyed it a lot, hope more stories are in the offing.

Could not finish this book. It was given to me as a gift. The first book was bearable with some amusing humour. This one just felt like a rant, I listened to about half of it as Adam Baldwin is a good narrator, but when I realised it wasnt going to stop ranting about people the author has taken personal umbrage with, I left the universe. So humorous! Loved every weird, against-type characterization twist. Adam Baldwins narration/performance was top notch. Absolutely LOVED the references to the first Tom Stranger story, and the negative reviews on Audible; not in the least because I had read those 1 star reviews and remembered some of the ones quoted! I listened to this on Audible. Excellent reader! I didnt think the story could possibly be better than the first, but it was! I love the pop culture references: the dimension with the president who tweets constantly, the Chinese president singing a commercial jingle and many more were all are hilarious. I laughed so hard I was crying. This is an excellent story! I listened to this on Audible. Excellent reader! I didn’t think the story could possibly be better than the first, but it was! Another hilarious installment of the series, full of pop-culture references, sparing neither side of the political spectrum, and even taking a jab at its critics of the first short story. Basically this is what you can do when you have a no-holds-barred multiverse to play in - you can do just about whatever crazy thing you can imagine. And all in the name of good customer service! :P

This was silly and hilarious from the start to finish, every sentence was funny. Trump tweet part made me spill my coffee "Made in China by Americans". Adam Baldwin is a genius, he beautifully embodied each character.

Definitely not an audio book to be listened to on a a quite train. I giggled my way through this one. I did not think it was possible for it to funnier and more ridiculous than #1, but it is. A fun story in a fun series, and don't believe any 1 star reviews - the dolphins are vindictive and wrong!

This was funny and snarky like all of Correias work. I enjoyed it. But, it was a bit overpriced for two hours of audio for $10. Im going to keep it, but just barely. Another solidly entertaining candy book. If another in the series comes out, I'll gladly listen. It's good for a quick, amusing, but unimportant listen to cleanse you of bad feels or to refresh your pallet for other more complex stories.
