    This book is amazing! I had a session with Kelly a few years back and LOVED her formulaic approach to eating. It is so easy to remember and she got me to drink my first fab 4 smoothie. I HATED powdered protein until she told me the exact one to buy! She actually took me to the market next door to our meeting place and helped me read labels with a fresh set of tools. She does the exact same in this book. She gives specific brands, recipes, and VERY practical ideas for every lifestyle. This book This book is amazing!     This is a book for people in LA, or who want to live in LA, and enjoy selectively choosing their facts about nutrition to serve their own preferences or goals. I'm not into self help books, but for some reason I picked this up and thought it might be useful. I was wrong. The overall premise of the book is relatively sound. Eating greens, fiber, protein, and fat as the base for your meals is generally agreed upon nutrition science. However, when she dives deeper than that it gets sketchy. I'm not This is a book for people in LA, or who want to live in LA, and enjoy selectively choosing their facts about nutrition to serve their own preferences or goals. I'm not into self help books, but for some reason I picked this up and thought it might be useful. I was wrong. The overall premise of the book is relatively sound. Eating greens, fiber, protein, and fat as the base for your meals is generally agreed upon nutrition science. However, when she dives deeper than that it gets sketchy. I'm not a nutritionist, but when she recommends avoiding GMOs because the science still isn't settled about whether it's safe for human consumption (it is), that you should avoid soy because it contains endocrine disruptors (not in reasonable amounts), and uses words like 'clean' and' detox', I find it really hard to trust anything else she says. If you are completely new to healthy eating, the meal plans in this book may help you establish some good habits, especially with the focus on whole foods and vegetables. But ultimately, I don't think this 400 page book contains more wisdom than these seven words from Michael Pollan: "Eat food, not too much, mostly plants."

More than any book Ive read, this one best sums up the core essentials that are key to balancing and nourishing the body. Wherever you Kelly delivers sound nutrition and lifestyle information in this approachable, engaging, and easy to read book. I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease 10 years ago and have been dedicated to holistic health and a wellness lifestyle ever since. Even with extensive knowledge of health, Kelly Leveque has filled in some key gaps for me with her various resources. More than any book I’ve read, this one best sums up the core essentials that are key to balancing and nourishing the body. Wherever you are coming from on your health journey, I can’t recommend this book enough. The Fab Four framework will truly leave you feeling energized, nourished, and satisfied. Kelly’s body love approach is one that encourages confidence, flexibility, and long term success. Not only is she incredibly smart, she is genuinely kind and encouraging...what a breath of fresh air in a culture saturated with crash diets and body torture. I live out Kelly’s framework every day and have truly never felt better. Get this book, equip yourself with valuable knowledge, and adopt what you can as you go at your own pace; your body and mind will thank you!

Well, as a mom of two littles And a teacher, I found myself always saying Im tired my husband would even joke. I found my why. I remember Rachel saying many times how energized she felt. So I read both of Kellys books in a weekend. I was sold. Her fab 4 approach is so tactical. She gives the science (a little) and then all sorts of information you can use I first heard Kelly on Rachel Hollis’s podcast a while back. I really liked what I heard but didn’t really have a why for digging in more. Well, as a mom of two littles And a teacher, I found myself always saying “I’m tired” my husband would even joke. I found my why. I remember Rachel saying many times how energized she felt. So I read both of Kelly’s books in a weekend. I was sold. Her fab 4 approach is so tactical. She gives the science (a little) and then all sorts of information you can use everyday. She gives suggestions, but I don’t feel like it’s a sales pitch. I changed my lifestyle Sunday (today is Thursday) and I feel full physically. But I feel FULL with my energy! I’ve not said I’m tired in the middle of the day ever since!

    This book is amazing and now a constant fixture on my kitchen table. Kellys approach to food is scientific without being intimidating, lifestyle changing without being focused on restriction, and ultimately simple. In the three weeks Ive been using Kellys Fab 4 method I have strengthened my relationship with food and find Im relying less on pure willpower to make it through a day eating healthy. (Not to mention Ive shed a few pounds and eat WAY more veggies than ever before.) PLUS Kelly provides This book is amazing and now a constant fixture on my kitchen table. Kelly’s approach to food is scientific without being intimidating, lifestyle changing without being focused on restriction, and ultimately simple. In the three weeks I’ve been using Kelly’s Fab 4 method I have strengthened my relationship with food and find I’m relying less on pure “willpower” to make it through a day eating healthy. (Not to mention I’ve shed a few pounds and eat WAY more veggies than ever before.) PLUS Kelly provides a ton of great recipes and realistic advice for things like takeout and vacation and travel. Can’t say enough how much I recommend Body Love Every Day.

    If you want to understand the science behind nutrition in a very simple and doable way, Kelly is your girl. Her first book, Body Love, has more in depth descriptions behind her method if you need to start from square one. But this one has a great refresher course with more specific recommendations regarding products, plus helpful nutrition tables and other info. Not to mention lots of recipes. Not planning to implement any of the 21 day plans myself, but I like the recipes in each section and If you want to understand the science behind nutrition in a very simple and doable way, Kelly is your girl. Her first book, Body Love, has more in depth descriptions behind her method if you need to start from square one. But this one has a great refresher course with more specific recommendations regarding products, plus helpful nutrition tables and other info. Not to mention lots of recipes. Not planning to implement any of the 21 day plans myself, but I like the recipes in each section and have tried a few already with great success. As her recipes are catered more for 1-2 servings, I think most of them will be used for my personal breakfast and lunch rather than a family meal.

    This is part cookbook but also part explanation about what nutrients the body needs and so I actually read this cover to cover. I love the simplicity of basically making sure you are getting protein, fiber, fat, and greens in each meal to make sure you are getting what you need to thrive without counting calories or reaching for processed foods. I am here for all the new salad ideas (and will definitely be making the slow cooker carnitas salad with that cilantro pepita dressing!).

    Lots of good ideas and healthy recipes but she says that its not a diet then says to avoid carbs, fruit, dairy which sounds like a diet to me. The whole book is about smoothies and salads, she offers no alternatives for those who arent into either. Her eating plan is entirely unrealistic for someone who isnt a celebrity, Ive never seen a lot of the ingredients and the majority is not affordable. Lots of good ideas and healthy recipes but she says that it’s not a diet then says to avoid carbs, fruit, dairy which sounds like a diet to me. The whole book is about smoothies and salads, she offers no alternatives for those who aren’t into either. Her eating plan is entirely unrealistic for someone who isn’t a celebrity, I’ve never seen a lot of the ingredients and the majority is not affordable.

    Meh. She states specifically that this is not a smoothie diet. I disagree. Every single day has a smoothie, even if the concept is to modify and 'make it your own'. Good understanding of food but good for a basic level of nutritional changes. Good specific pointers including sprouting and soaking to increase absorption.

    I just couldnt get on board with this one. I liked her last book and her mentality of adding protein, veggies, and healthy grains. However, her recipes seemed to all contain far-fetched items that Ive never heard of or they just didnt sound appealing to me. I think Ill stick with her original FabFour smoothie, but not much else from this book. I just couldn’t get on board with this one.     I love Kelly Leveque and her approach to nutrition. I read her first book as soon as it came out, but was dying for more recipes to implement into my life. This book DEFINITELY has more recipes and I thought was even better than Body Love 1! This book was great because it gave very easy plans to implement. I love me a good step by step nutrition book! Highly recommend!!!!
