   Some of these are really cute and fun, some are poignant and they have black and white illustrations that really help tell the stories. Overall, they're not great, but there's certainly sweetness to the thought of honoring teachers in this way. My favorites are "Perfect Attendance" and "The Last Day of School".    This is s great book of poems for all educators. I love the poems about each class, person or student--we all know these people. I bought 4 of these for my daughter to give to teachers-one in elementary, middle and high school and one more for someone else when she was graduating from high school--it is such an appropriate book of poetry.
