Plunge (2020-) #3

Availability: Ready to download

The long-lost crew of the Derleth emerges from the wind-scoured stones and twisted pines of the Sinnikik atoll, looking not a day older than when they disappeared 40 years before. They come bearing impossible, dizzying gifts for their rescuers. But at what price?

So, the story in Plunge just went to the next level. It's definitely my favourite of the Hill House comics so far. I can't wait for the next one (so glad that comics are being distributed again!). I'm really excited to see where this goes. It's a smart, multilayered story that has definitely kept me thinking long after I'm done. Would HIGHLY recommend!

This Issue was fantastic! I love how this story develops. It gets darker, twistier and gets several more layers. Some of the mysteries slowly unravel, other are building up. I need to know how this is going to end ASAP!

Hill back at his best. The story arc still on its way up. Multi layered and just hoping that he ties up everything nicely over the rest of books. Looking forward to the next one!

3.75 Stars. Genuinely creepy, I think this series has a lot of potential, hope it maintains.

Pacing slowed a little here to bring up backstory, then turned weird with no real warning. Weirder than I expected, I mean.

You don't notice how good the art is because it's busy telling the story.
