This book is a compilation of Obama’s (mostly spoken) words relating to racial justice and specifically BLM. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it is an imperfect and potentially somewhat outdated compilation. When I first saw this, I thought Obama had just written a book about BLM today, but unfortunately that is not the case. The primary messages of this book were hope, unity, and trust, all built upon a value system that our nation has always held dear. And that’s a huge bummer because he was (rightly) aiming for unity. I didn’t disagree with this book though, I thought it was great!!!
