I didn't really enjoy this book. I can't quite pinpoint why. It's format outlines the different sorts of ways you can protest including some short interviews with activists about why they fight. There are some really good sections on legal rights etc. It lacks any concrete tips or a clear outline on how to put a campaign together, historical examples are thrown in and often seem to be an afterthought and to be honest if it wasn't for the legal sections I don't think I would have learnt a thing. However the legal info is obviously aimed at UK protesters. The language used is really odd too... seemingly normal sentances end with baby, baby, and other colloquialisms don't seem to fit with the tone of the rest of the text.

A great overview of different forms of action, along with the historical context of each in the UK and a good dose of legal advice. A little lacking in detail, but good enough for its intended purpose.

This book I read to assist with my university course, and I have to say this book was very boring. However, that maybe because I've never really ever considered myself a protestor. Having said that this book is very informative and is a must read for anyone who wants to be a protestor or has even considered it. It gives you a little bit of the history as well as letting you know the potential laws that you could be breaking(which could be very useful).

I flipped through this one and I think it's quite handy. I will pick it up in the future before my protesting expeditions.
